Meet the Team

Dr. Chris Pardue

Dr. Chris Pardue is the founder of Belle Meade Dermatology. He is a board-certified Dermatologist.  He received his doctor of Dental Surgery in 1974 at The University of Tennessee.  He then went on to earn his doctorate of Medicine.  He completed his residency at The University of New Mexico and has been in private practice in Nashville since 1985.  Dr. Pardue enjoys real-estate, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Wayne Day

Dr. Wayne Day is a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Day received his Medical Degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.  He completed an internship at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and a dermatology residency at the university of Arkansas School of Medicine.  He is married and has lived in Nashville since 1990 when he came to join Belle Meade Dermatology.  His hobbies include reading, golf, and spending time with his family and volunteer group.

Dr. K. Dawn Vincent

Dr. K. Dawn Vincent is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.  She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1994.  Dr. Vincent interned in Pediatrics in Charlotte, NC and then completed her dermatology residency as Chief Resident at the Medical College of Georgia.  She has been in private practice in Nashville since 1998.

Although her practice encompasses all general dermatology, Dr. Vincent’s special interests including treating children and performing surgical and cosmetic procedures.  She has served as an office in many medical societies, including the Tennessee Dermatology Society (Past President), Nashville Dermatology Society (Past President) and the Tennessee Women in Medicine (Past President).  She holds memberships in the Nashville Academy of Medicine, Tennessee Medical Association, Women’s Dermatologic Society and the National Psoriasis Foundation Leaders’ Society.

Dr. Jerry “Jay” Smith

Jerry “Jay” Smith, M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Fellowship trained Mohs surgeon specializing in the treatment of skin cancer and surgical reconstruction.

Dr. Smith received his undergraduate degree from Lipscomb University.  He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Tennessee where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor society as well as the Gold Humanism Honor Society.  After medical school, Dr. Smith completed his Residency in Dermatology at Southern Illinois University where he served as Chief Resident.

After working as a general dermatologist in the Nashville area for two years, Dr. Smith decided his true passion was focusing on the treatment of skin cancer.  He then completed a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center focusing on the removal of skin cancer and surgical reconstruction.

Dr. Smith is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and member of the American Society of Dermatological Surgery and American College of Mohs Surgery.

A native of Linden, Tennessee.  He currently resides in Franklin with his wife and son. Away from work he enjoys playing golf, hunting and watching college sports.

Margaret Morgan, NP

Ms. Margaret Morgan is a board-certified nurse practitioner. A Nashville native, Margaret attended Father Ryan High School.  After receiving her undergraduate degree in Nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, she completed her graduate studies to earn her Master’s degree in Nursing with a concentratin in Family Practice.  Ms. Morgan graduated Magna Cum Laude from her master’s program and is a member in Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society.  After earning her degree, Ms. Morgan returned to her home to begin working at Belle Meade Dermatology Center in January 2012.  Margaret is a member in the Tennessee Nurses Assocation, the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practisioners, and the Dermatology Nurses Association.  She is certified in both Botox and Dermal Fillers but concentrates mostly on medical dermatology patients including those with acne, eczema, psoriasis, hyperhidrosis, and those with general skin care needs.  She is skilled in performing Dermatologic procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, miraDry, and the other laser treatments.  In her free time, Margaret loves to spend time with her family and friends enjoying outdoors and appreciating all that Nashville has to offer.

Jennifer Warren, NP

Jennifer Warren is a board-certified nurse practitioner and has been practicing for over 14 years’ experience in cardiology, internal medicine, and dermatology.  Upon completing her undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in nursing at Vanderbilt University. A Nashville native, she returned to her home town after living in Chicago for over 10 years.  Her passion for skin care began in her internal medicine experience, where she studied dermatology textbooks and medical journals, and became known as the “go-to-girl” for dermatological concerns among her colleagues.  From there, she went on to find her career niche in dermatology and loves taking care of her patients and their skin care needs.  In her free time, Jennifer loves spending time with friends and family, her dog Lucy, traveling and enjoying Nashville.

Deb Dunne, RN, Injector

Deb is a Licensed Registered Nurse/Certified Botox and Dermal Filler Specialists. She brings an extensive nursing background in dermatology and cosmetic procedures. Skilled in neurotoxin and dermal filler injections, skin rejuvenating and medical aesthetics, Deb has been providing services in the Nashville area since 1996. Based out of Boston area, Deb keeps a busy schedule due to her loyal following in Music City and the surrounding areas.

Amanda Weaver-Ellis

Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Aesthetician/Certified Cosmetic Laser Specialist.  She is a Nashville native and has over 11 years of experience in the skincare industry.  Her advanced training includes:

Sharon Tidwell

Sharon is the Front Desk Coordinator at Belle Meade Dermatology. She is a Tennessee native and has been working in the medical field for 13 years. Seven of those years were in medical records at Dickson Medical Associates; the other six years were providing customer service in a front office position at Belle Meade Dermatology on the Medical side of the practice. Most of her time was spent greeting patients with a beautiful smile and positive attitude.

Sharon possesses the skills we were looking for in a front desk coordinator: Some of her skills include: a beautiful smile; outgoing personality; positive attitude; ability to multitask in a fast paced environment; checking patients in and out while making and changing appointments and her eagerness to learn new things.
